Joshua Lee practices general business and corporate transactional law, including finance, securities, secured and unsecured lending, entity formation and structuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Homeier Law PC, Joshua worked as a corporate attorney at Barbera Corporate Law, PC, where he represented startups and emerging companies in a wide range of corporate matters, including with respect to entity formation and restructuring, securities, corporate governance, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Joshua represented clients across diverse industries, such as food and beverage, technology, healthcare, and entertainment. Notably, while at Barbera Corporate Law, Joshua also gained experience working closely with benefit corporations and B-corps, and thereby helped facilitate the growth of the benefit corporation movement.
Prior to graduating law school, Joshua worked as a summer intern at Walmart, where he assisted the Information and Systems Division on various technology transactions, as well as on privacy, data breach, and compliance matters. Additionally, Joshua served as a law clerk for the LA City Attorney’s Office, where he supported the LA Department of Water and Power on real estate transactions and water law cases.
Joshua received his B.S. in Biochemistry from UCSD and worked as a chemist at a biotechnology company prior to his legal career. He received his J.D. from NYU School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the NYU Journal of Law and Business and as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Helen Hershkoff for Civil Procedure. Joshua is a member of the State Bar of California.
